6th Grade Outdoor Education
Outdoor Education offers all 6th grade students in the district a unique overnight camping experience at the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Camp. Students spend two days and one night learning in the outdoors and acquiring a greater understanding of nature. Students participate in nature hikes, games, and teamwork building activities while staying in cabins at the camp. Because we believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate, despite their family’s income, the Foundation provides substantial financial support to make this program free to all students. With generous support from families, parents, alumni, staff, and members of the community, students can engage in experimental learning using the environment while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
