The PLCS Family Fund provides financial support for Papillion La Vista Community Schools educators and staff in times of illness, family emergencies, and other unexpected financial crises. Supporting staff when they need it most allows them to focus on overcoming the challenges and continue serving students, when possible. Recommendations for this support will come to the Foundation through the building administrator, counselors, or supervisor. This program is designed to mirror Student Emergency Fund, a resource designed to support students and their educators.
Contributions from the Papillion Sanitation Papillion La Vista Residential Donation Program will create the Staff Emergency Fund. Papillion Sanitation customers are invited to show school pride by displaying a Monarch, Titan, or Papillion La Vista Community Schools logo sticker on their Papillion Sanitation trash cart. For each participant, Papillion Sanitation will donate $1 each month to a new fund established to support educators in times of need. This program is available to both existing and new customers, and donations are made at no additional cost to the customer.
The Papillion Sanitation Papillion La Vista Residential Donation Program begins September 11 and will continue at least until the end of the year. New or existing Papillion Sanitation customers who would like to participate should call 402-346-7800.
