The PLCS Foundation is proud to recognize Judy Abels and her son, Bret Abels, as honorary starters for the 40th annual Swing for Kids Golf Fundraiser on June 9, 2026.
The Abels family represents four generations of Papillion La Vista Community Schools graduates and students. Judy joined the PLCS Foundation Board in 1993 and has spent decades supporting Foundation programs and events. Bret, a 1983 Papillion La Vista High School graduate, joined the Board in 2018 and served as Board President in 2023 and 2024.
The Foundation is honored to celebrate 40 years of dedication and tradition provided by individuals like Judy and Bret, alongside many other members of the school district and Foundation supporters.
