2026-27 Teacher Grants
Applications Open October 31
The PLCS Foundation Teacher Grant Program supports ideas that go beyond typical classroom instruction or routine operating expenses. Grants can fund creative approaches, pilot new concepts, address emerging student needs, or expand opportunities for students.
Any PLCS employee may apply with the support of their principal or supervisor.
Timeline
- October 1–31: Applications open
- November: Grant selection
- December: Recipients notified
- January 2027: Funds available
Eligible Projects
Examples may include, but are not limited to:
- Innovative instructional strategies or pilot programs
- Student wellness and mental health initiatives
- Career exploration and workforce readiness experiences
- Family and community engagement projects
- STEM, arts, literacy, or enrichment opportunities
- Programs supporting student belonging and engagement
- Cross-school or interdisciplinary collaborations
- New approaches to addressing student needs or barriers to success
Review Criteria
Grant applications will be evaluated based on:
- Potential impact on student success
- Innovation and creativity
- Clear goals and measurable outcomes
- Feasibility implementation plan
- Responsible use of funds
- Potential for sustainability or broader application
- Alignment with district priorities, strategic goals, or school improvement efforts
